As well as this, delegates will learn how to act as valuable MoV® team members, and how to assist Value Managers with decision making that meets business goals and stakeholder demands. The significance of accurate planning in the earliest stages of the project is emphasised to delegates, as this determines where resources need to be utilised and the project’s overall vision. This is established in an attempt to maximise the possibility of value success.

The MoV® Foundation level empowers individuals to confidently explain what MoV® is to others, and enables candidates to advance in the Management of Value realm with further certifications.

MoV® Foundation & Practitioner Course Overview

Management of Value (MoV®) Foundation and Practitioner is a combined training course which allows delegates to attain both certification levels together in one training package. Delegates will enhance their knowledge of the MoV® guidance and learn ways to maximise value within the constraints of project/programme goals. The MoV® Foundation and Practitioner examinations are both included.

The first two days will focus on the MoV® Foundation section. The Foundation training outlines the main elements of MoV®, such as its principles, guidance, and language. At the Foundation levels, delegates learn how they can apply MoV® training to their role, such as acting as MoV® project team members, and providing support to the managers regarding decisions about the growth of value.

Further to this, the final 2 days will cover the Practitioner content. MoV® Practitioner builds on what delegates learn at the Foundation level by providing guidance on how to apply MoV® to real work scenarios.

Overall, delegates will acquire knowledge of the MoV® guidance that focuses on boosting value whilst maintaining business goals. Teaching methods include the use of accelerated techniques, to deliver course content quickly and effectively, whilst case studies are used to ensure delegates can implement MoV® operations to real situations.
