There are no formal prerequisites for the AIX Korn Shell Programming Training Course. However, a basic understanding of operating systems, AIX operating system and Korn shell can be beneficial.
AIX Korn Shell Programming is used for the manipulate text and incorporate them into AIX Shell Scripts. The default directory is usually a home directory. AIX Operating System and other UNIX-Like operating Systems need a way to communicate with the kernel. The Korn Shell is the default shell used with AIX. Korn Shell scripting is included in the programming Strategy.
